SERTÃO - 2024/Present - Brazil (MG) & United States (NY) - Director

SERTÃO is an international platform that promotes events, meetings, and dialogues in Brazil and the United States. With an artistic and educational program in Minas Gerais and New York, its goal is to build bridges and foster a cultural thought aligned with the needs of contemporary artists. SERTÃO also coordinates and manages the Jacarandá project, an integrated system of artistic and cultural experiences through collective guitar teaching in Minas Gerais.



Festival de Música de Prados - 2018/Present -  Prados, Minas Gerais - Resident Artist & Professor

One of Brazil’s most traditional music festivals, the Prados Music Festival takes place every winter. It is promoted by USP (University of São Paulo) in partnership with Lira Ceciliana. As a guest professor and artist, Octávio Deluchi has taught and performed as a soloist, with the orchestra, in duos, trios, quartets, and chamber music ensembles.

Mostra de Violão da Lira Ceciliana - 2017/Present - Prados, Minas Gerais - Coordinator

Originally created in partnership with AssoVio Vertentes, the Mostra de Violão da Lira Ceciliana is a guitar festival held every winter (July) with guest artists and local attractions. Its main goal is to create an environment that offers high-quality performances while providing opportunities for young students and new talents. The festival was held in 2017, 2018, 2022, and 2023, and in 2025, it will celebrate its fifth edition.


BCGC - Brazilian Classical Guitar Community - 2020/2021 - Coordinator

BCGC was an online collaborative platform developed and coordinated by Camilla Silva, Gabriele Leite, Nicolas Porto Silva, and Octávio Deluchi. The project promoted, published, and premiered online projects highlighting Brazilian guitarists, scholars, performers, and their music. With guest collaborators, it connected people during the social distancing period. BCGC premiered new works for guitar by João Luiz and Vicente Paschoal and published important collections featuring more than 80 guitarists from around the world.


Música Sem Nome Podcast - 2020/2021 - Co-Producer

Produced by Heloisa Carbonera and Octávio Deluchi, the Música Sem Nome podcast ran for three seasons, featuring guest musicians and artists from various backgrounds and experiences. The target audience included beginner musicians, amateurs, and curious listeners. It covered various topics such as Performance, Hermeneutics, Musical Criticism, among others, aiming to expand musical discussions and create bridges across different fields within the music world.


AssoVio Vertentes Guitar Association - 2016/2021 - Founder Member
AssoVio Vertentes, or Vertentes Guitar Association, is a guitar association founded in 2016 in São João Del-Rei, Brazil, by Adailson Araújo, Jefrey Andrade, Octávio Deluchi, and Rodolfo Mantovani. Its goal is to promote the guitar and its related matters in the Vertentes region of Minas Gerais. The main event was the Circuito de Violão das Vertentes (Vertentes Guitar Festival). During this period, AssoVio Vertentes also organized the AssoVio Vertentes National Guitar Competition every two years, bringing competitors from all over Brazil. Over five years, more than 100 events were held, with featured artists such as Duo Siqueira-Lima (Fernando Lima & Cecília Siqueira), Marco Pereira, Gilson Antunes, Duo a Zero (Alexandre Gismonti & Jean Charnaux), Duo Vincens-Maciel (Guilherme Vincens & Michel Maciel), Paulo Inda, Duo Reis-Barbeitas (Carla Reis & Flavio Barbeitas), Moacyr Teixeira Neto, Marcelo Fernandes, Gabriele Leite, Sidney Molina, Thiago Colombo, Renato Serrano, Orlando Fraga, Waldir Jr., Eduardo Meirinhos, Luciano Cesar Morais, Daniel Wolff, Cristina Tourinho, among others.

Southwest Virginia Classical Guitar Society - 2020/2021 - President

The Southwest Virginia Classical Guitar Society is a club affiliated with Radford University. Octávio Deluchi served as the president of the club from 2020 to 2021. The group organizes guitar concerts and activities at the university, with the Radford International Guitar Festival being the highlight of its annual calendar. The festival is supported by the club through grants.

GTA na Radford University - 2019/2021 - Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Radford University, under the guidance of Dr. Robert Trent, Octávio Deluchi was part of the two-year Master's degree program. During this time, he was awarded the Dr. Robert S. Trent Endowed Classical Scholarship and the Program Fund, and was nominated for the Foundation Awards.

ISAC - 2020/2021 - Event Coordinator

ISAC (International Student Affairs Council) is a student organization at Radford University responsible for supporting and integrating new international students in the New River Valley region. Deluchi coordinated events and promoted the RU International podcast, which explores the experiences and concerns of the international community.

Prados Online - 2019/2020 - Columnist
From January 2019 to December 2020, Octávio Deluchi wrote as a columnist for Prados Online, one of the most visited news portals in the Vertentes region. His articles focused on music, concerts, cultural events, and art exhibitions, providing the only space dedicated specifically to these topics in the region.

Domingo na Lira - 2018/2019 - Producer & Coordinator

Domingo na Lira was a concert series organized in Prados in partnership with Lira Ceciliana. Between April 2018 and July 2019, the series presented 19 concerts, offering free solo and chamber music performances. Highlights included the Flautas Gerais festival and collaborations with renowned musicians.

ALICE / O Caos das 5 - 2018/2019 - Music Director

lALICE (Arts Lab in Interfaces, Computers, and Everything Else) is a research group at UFSJ led by Dr. Flávio Schiavoni. In partnership with the GTrans group, led by Dr. Adilson Siqueira, the project resulted in the performance "O Caos das 5," which blended music, technology, and visual arts.

Música Viva - 2015/2018 - Guitar Instructor

Música Viva, coordinated by Professor Vladmir Agostini at UFSJ, was a project aimed at providing educational opportunities for children and teenagers from disadvantaged social backgrounds. The project included a guitar ensemble, string orchestra, and choir for the local community.
